2024 Big Seed Success Story:
We had innumerable volunteers, including 17 NEW ones, to help prepare for our BEAUTIFUL BIG SEED CONTEST DAY. We served 104 families, (417 people) with free tomato, pepper, egg plant and herb plants! Thank you to Jackson Area Career Center and Jason's team. Thank you David Kemler for all the years you have been a great part of this event. Thank you to the Gorczikas, (Rosemary, Jake and Luke) for writing (Jake), illustrating (Rosemary) and publishing our book again this year, and all the muscle to help pull off this fun event.
Sticky Fingers joined us again this year, keeping our volunteers and visitors watered and fed.
Twyla handles the registration every year. Thank you to Ralph, Mark, Kevin, Sally, Jerry and my sweet Robbie.
A special thanks to St Vincent De Paul for answering the phone, Doreen for all the typing and Zack for moving the plants and continuing to sell them at the East Michigan store.
THANK YOU ALL! - We have finished another wonderful year!
Thank you Lord God for you blessings on us.
